Hi Stylistas, Earlier this morning was a beautiful, sunny day so I thought to myself...it's time to alter one of my favorite synthetic wigs. The original wig (Candi by Urban Beauty) had the Platinum Blonde Loose Wave Pattern on top with one Braid across the crown along with a straight Platinum Bang. I decided to add several weave tracks in between the existing layers of the Candi Wig in order to darken parts of the style. In following with the existing curl pattern, I used Sensationnel's Kanubia Loose Wave Pattern placed at strategic points. The final result - the photo on the left is Candi "after alterations". Hi Stylistas, Are you already doing your holiday shopping? I understand how you feel because I don't do well in long lines and crowded stores. Hi Stylistas, For the first time since October started, we finally had temperatures as low as 50 degrees outside. When cold temperatures arrive, we normally turn up the heaters inside our houses and cars. While protecting your skin, be sure to protect your hair. If you're wearing a protective style like me then your own hair is either relaxed or braided/cornrow down in it's natural state with the covering being a wig or weave style. But whichever style you choose, be sure to use a moisturizer (we use moisturizers by "AsIAm" sold at Sallys Beauty Supply) and/or a natural oil such as Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil or Morrocan Oil to quench your thirsty hair. This way, you can continue to be FABULOUS while protecting your CROWNING GLORY. SMILE!!

Hi Stylistas, I've been on hiatus during the Summer because I wanted to dedicate my time to my daughters. I really enjoyed the time I had with them and we were able to go on a much needed vacation. But now the Fall season has begun...I'm too excited to take on the new season of trends in hair, makeup and fashion. As many of you have heard, one of the major colors of the new season is COBALT BLUE (aka. ROYAL BLUE). As for me, the Fall season means that I convert from my short hairstyles to my longer hairstyles. You have to love the FALL SEASON...SMILE.

Hi Stylistas, Happy Spring!! Spring cleaning begins a new season of hopes and dreams. Sometimes life throws a monkey wrench in our path but I just want to say that there's HOPE, there's HAPPINESS, there's LOVE and there's OPPORTUNITY if we just BELIEVE in the STRENGTH inside of each of us. Don't give up, throw out the trash and look UP to see the SUNSHINE.

Hi Stylistas, Today I felt like wearing this "Pink & Black" Outfit. Eventhough it is winter, the weather broke today and gave us a shining day near 70 degrees. That put a SMILE on my face and flashes of color in my eyes. Have you ever felt like that, Stylistas? About my hair, it's a highlighted number by Freetress Equal called Tracy in Color F437. Additionally, I couldn't forget that my makeup had to have a touch of PINK. So I delved into the Smashbox "Click You're It" Makeup Kit. Under my brow line, I brushed on Color #6 which is a Frosted Pink. On my eyelid, I brushed on Color #7 which is a Fushia Pink. Lastly, in my crease line, I swept across with Color #11 which is a Frosted Dark Brown. HAPPY SUNDAY, STYLISTAS!!!

Hi Stylistas, During this first week of the New Year 2012, I've jumped into the Hair Game of Color!!! Continuing to improve on my haircolor knowledge, I've added a few more wigs that are highlighted with colors F4-30, P4-27, 27-30, F33-32-240. If you're not ready to wear a fully highlighted wig, try inserting "Clip-On Highlighted Weave Strands" into your existing wig or extension style. For me, I wear shorter, highlighted styles to work and longer, highlighted styles at home or to evening events. Shown below is the "Fresca" Cocktail Wig by Glance in Color F4-27-30. Also, I'm wearing eyeshadow from the MAC Double Feature #5 Collection.
